Basement friends, hello!

How is everyone? For those of you who were at the Brussels gig, have you gotten over it yet? For those of you who are yet to see Two Door this year…I get you! Let us know what gigs you’re going to on twitter!

Now, for those of you who follow us on social media, you’ll know we’re slightly reorganising our communications strategy to make sure we offer you the best content!

Basementpeople.com is currently the wonderful Maybrit, who amongst other things redesigned the site when Gameshow came out, and myself. What a dream team! Amongst the two of us we are running the site, our social media accounts and keeping our eyes and ears peeled for Two Door updates! We are hoping to work alongside management this year to provide you with the best content and make this website the wonderful place it once was! With a new year ahead of us and album four only around the corner, we believe now is the perfect time to up our game and get this baby rolling once more! We will therefore be updating our website and social media more often, will be interacting with your more via twitter and instagram stories and will of course be redesigning the site to match the new albums aesthetic!

To make our website a fun, dynamic and relevant place to hang out however, we need you! We’re always open to sharing your content (stories, photos, covers, artwork, tattoos) as we believe that’s what really makes this website live! Have you seen our Made in the Basement section? We haven’t updated in a while and yet we know there’s so much quality content out there, so do get in touch if you’d like to be featured on the site! We would also love to know what you expect from us as a fan site – more band news (when available of course), more visual content, more fan content, more throwbacks, more interactive content (polls, games, competitions), more of our own personnal stories and Two Door experiences? Let us know!

We would also like to know what the best way to get to you is. We have posted about this on our instagram story, our twitter and in Two Door’s facebook group, but in case you missed it, here’s our message:

What we mean by this is that we want to know exaclty what to post where. We will continue to be present on all platforms, however you may prefer twitter for news, instagram for visual content, facebook for events… Then again you might prefer twitter for its interactive side, instagram for news and facebook for sharing! Either way, we want to know!

Maybrit and I are very passionate about the band our site and therefore completely open to taking on board any requests and suggestions you may have, indeed we may run the website, but it’s all of us as a community that makes the basement people the best fan base ever, am I right?!

Please do get in touch and let us know how you see basementpeople.com in 2019!

We can’t wait to hear from you, until then I’m going to go back to calmly waiting for album number four…

Talk soon basement peeps!

Saoirse.
