As some of you may know, Two Door also performed a surprise acoustic set that afternoon. Watch it here:

Only a week to go before the official release of Beacon, we will therefor be in touch very soon! Until then, we hope you’re well.

As the album has only been on the bands site for a few days, a few of you may not have one favourite song just yet, so you can pick 3 songs max. Try and pick as less as possible if you can, so we can see what songs really stand out.
Any comments you may have about specific songs or the album as a whole are welcome!
We looking forward to hearing what you have to say about Beacon!
“You Think You Know, You Don’t Know – A Film About Two Door Cinema Club” was released in 2010 as a part of the bands deluxe edition of their first album Tourist History. We’re pleased to say that the very talented Babysweet Sessions will soon be releasing a new documentary about the boys, shot this summer over four festivals.
The film is called What You See. Here is the trailer, uploaded about two weeks ago:
“Our good friends at Babysweet followed us around for a few weeks so our fans could get an idea of what life is really like for us on the road,” said Baird of the documentary. “Take a peek inside our average day.”
In other news, you may have seen, on Alex’s twitter, that the Obama story was simply a joke. However, we found the story very funny and thought you would also enjoy it, true or not.
Don’t forget to tune in to BBC3 tonight at 8pm GMT for highlights from Two Door’s performance at Reading Festival!
We hope you’re well and are enjoying what’s left of your summer.
Two Door news never fail to amaze us. From Alex appearing at the Olympics to this. According to numerous online sources, President Barack Obama has booked almost every seat for the Washington DC gig on October 2nd. We’ve mocked up an image of what we expect the president to look like on the evening.
A source is said to have told the The Sun newspaper: “Alex was delighted to hear their US gig had been practically booked out by Barack and his team. He thinks it’s mad the President of the United States has their tunes on his iPod. You can’t get a much bigger fan than that.”
Apparently they are to put on a secondary gig in Washington DC to cater for demand. We’re yet to have official confirmation from the band from this, but we’ll keep you updated.
So who knew President Obama was one of the #basementpeople?
