Recently, a few more new songs have snuck their way in to Two Door Cinema Club’s live set list. Some of them we have already seen, but I thought this a decent time to collate everything that we know about the band’s second album so far. To our knowledge, the band have pretty much wrapped up on the recording of their album. The most recent tracks that we have become aware of are Wake Up and Pyramid. Please note that all titles are tentative and are therefore subject to change.

The tracks we know about so far:

Many speculate that their old track Hands Off My Cash, Monty may feature, due to the resurgence of them playing it at their shows.

Reports over the albums release dates vary, but most suggest straight a release of straight after summer, so September looks very likely.

The band have expressed that there is to be more variation on this album compared to their last, but is still to contain some of the fast paced pop songs that formed Tourist History. Their has also been talk of an emphasis on “stadium songs”. In an NME interview in January the band said they have been listening to hip-hop and feel that the drums and baselines have become influenced by the likes of Kanye West and Jay-Z. They were however cautious to note that they will not start rapping.

Finally, if you missed the record store day releases, you can listen to them here:
